My Story

Hi, I'm Georgia — and if you love books and beautiful things, you're in exactly the right place.

I make literary wall art using classic book quotes in simple black and white (a few colour and a few vintage style too), because I've always believed that the right words deserve to be seen every day, not just read once and forgotten. Whether it's a line from Winnie the Pooh that takes you straight back to childhood, something sharp and true from a favourite author, or a quote that just lands at the right moment — there's something here for every kind of reader.

Words have been the thread running through most of my life. I'm a writer and author myself — you can find that side of me over at georgiaclare.com — so when I say I understand why certain sentences stop you in your tracks, I really mean it. This shop grew directly out of that: a way to give the quotes that have always meant something a proper home on your walls.

I grew up in rural Wales with a grandmother who was a devoted bookworm and parents who were deeply suspicious of television (their words, not mine). No TV, no internet — yes, I'm that old — which meant I read absolutely everything I could get my hands on. Some things just stay with you.

Every print is professionally made on photographic paper with archival inks — proper quality that lasts, not something knocked out on a home printer. Have a look at the reviews if you'd like some reassurance on that front!

If you have a quote that means something to you and you don't see it here, please just get in touch — custom prints are one of my favourite things to make.

One small thing worth mentioning: all quotes are carefully checked for accuracy and attribution. These are the real words — though I'll admit some of the film adaptations are pretty wonderful too.

You can also find everything over on Etsy if you prefer to shop there.

And if you find yourself here because words do more than decorate your walls — they actually help you through things — come and visit me at Book Quote Therapy. It's where I match readers with the literature they need right now, and I send a weekly literary letter from there too. You're very welcome to join us.

If you're the kind of person who turns to books when life gets complicated, I made something for you.

The Literary First Aid Kit is a free ebook I put together over at Book Quote Therapy — 110 pages of carefully chosen literary quotes organised by what you're actually going through. Grief, change, uncertainty, joy, starting over. Consider it a medicine cabinet for the hard moments, made entirely of words.
