Paris Bouquinistes on a Rainy Night Dark Academia Print, Notre Dame and Seine Bookstall Oil Painting

A green bouquiniste stall glows by the Seine on a wet autumn night, with Notre-Dame lit up across the water.

The sign on the box reads Livres Anciens, Gravures, Cartes, old books, prints and maps, and the stall is still open, its prints and paperbacks under a single lamp. Someone walks past under an umbrella and the lights run gold across the pavement and the river. The booksellers have kept these stalls along the quays for over four hundred years, and this is a lovely piece for anyone who has browsed them, or wants to.

Printed on premium lustre paper with a professional finish, and carefully packaged to arrive in perfect condition.

Choose from five sizes, unframed or in a sleek black frame.

Perfect for:

• Book lovers and Paris lovers
• Reading corners and libraries
• Dark academia rooms
• Travel and anniversary gifts
